Applying for a Game Monitor [GM] position

We are a Multicultural Server, with players from all over the world. Server will host support personnel on each of the shifts for languages other than English. In order to meet the international players communication needs and to keep open dialog open with all players no matter the language, the server will have support and flexibility to support players of languages represented on this server including: Portuguese, English, Russian, Certain European dialects, Tagalog, Malaysian, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese and other countries as well.

As a way to enhance to universal friendship of our server, extending our friendship and a open communication policy, we are accepting four (GM) Game Monitor positions for multiple languages as there is a mutual respect between all cultures and rules of conduct will apply.


What A GM (Game Monitor) is?
As it is defined throughout many game platforms, a game monitor as we like to call it, (simplify as GM, also known as game master, game monitor, game moderator or referee). As the name applies so does the responsibility of this person who is gifted to this position of entitlement. As like many games, the same applies to ImperialEO and a person who is appointed into this LEVEL II (Tier II) support position is a person who acts as an organizer, officiant for questions regarding rules, arbitrator, and moderator for a multi-player role-playing game. They are most common in co-operative games in which players work together and are less common in competitive games in which players oppose each other. GM are positions are entitlements and positions of responsibilities and with such responsibilities one has to be professional and uphold a code of conduct which sets the staff member aside from the common player.

Here on ImperialEO the role of a GM in our unique role-playing game (HOSTED Private Server) is to weave the other participants' player-character stories together, control the non-player aspects of the game, create environments in which all players can interact, and solve any player disputes.

A GM basic role is the same in almost all traditional role-playing games, although differing rule sets make the specific duties of the GM typically the same rules imply. GM's are here to enforce the game's rules and provide general level two (Tier II) customer service to questions and solutions that GH can not solve or issues they can not handle; it is these type questions and issues that are escalated to the level II/GM staff

To be eligible for a (GM) Game Monitor position, players must meet minimum eligibility requirements of having been a ImperialEO GH staff member for minimum of three months to make sure ImperialEO has the right players for the GM role and (MOST IMPORTANTLY) the player feels comfortable with the ImperialEO gaming platform, can answer questions, knows the "ends" and "outs" of the game (OUR SERVER SPECIFICALLY), has mastered the quests to walk players through, can trouble shoot level II support inquiries without issues and has a good feel of the players around them.

Qualifications to apply for GM position: (PLAYERS with Bilingual abilities will take preference in hiring selection)

• MOST IMPORTANT RULE- Have to be a ImperialEO GH minimum of three months to be eligible for GM position. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

• Effective Communicator and able to speak your respected language and English to communicate with rest of the staff
• In Good Standing with Server, Staff and Players: No major offenses in six months (Jail, Bot, stealing, scamming players, threats to players)
• Required to work minimum two times a week/for minimum two hours each day- NO EXCEPTIONS
• Willing to communicate with Leadership, keep records and communicate among your peers, share information and willing to support the players with questions
• ALL GM are required to pass down through Staff Chat/Communication medium at all times- So everyone is on same page
• ALL BI-LINGUAL players (WHO SPEAK English and another language) at level 2+ rating will be considered
• ImperialEO is accepting GM staff positions for following languages: Portuguese, English, Russian, Certain European dialects, Tagalog, Malaysian, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese among other languages of common interest (Must be able to speak a second language- ENGLISH for consideration)
  

Applying for a Game Monitor [GM] position:

1. Fill out an application and submit an email it to imperialonlinestaff@yahoo.com for consideration
2. Interview with PM/owner to evaluate players interest in becoming a staff member
3. ALL Applications being considered will be through selection process. After initial interview, candidates (Beginning 1st (First Week) each month will be selected based on application, interview, players recommendation of a staff member and the selection panel which is made up of PM/Owner who vote on candidates who they feel will contribute to the server and in best interest of the players.
4. GM (GAME Monitor) considerations/selection process is done (1st Week) Each month and done through a selection process
5. GM positions are selected on a selection criteria process (1st week of each month) If you are selected and meet the minimum qualifications you will be notified
